La Paz Community School (www.lapazschool.org) was founded in 2007 in order to address

socio-cultural gaps prevalent in a region struggling to cope with the balance between an

agricultural and tourist economy. Today, operating at a capacity of approximately 330 students

from preschool to 12th grade, La Paz offers a forward-thinking model of education.  There are
