The German bakery, founded in 1994, is unique in Costa Rica for the quality and presentation of its products, which are offered in compliance with the rules and traditions of traditional German bakeries,

with his own production, packaging and sales area, so all the products offered by the bakery are of its own manufacture, as well as special customer orders.

The company has more than 800m² of industrial facilities, two large industrial ovens heated by gas, with large bakingspace into which, 2 meter high baking tray shelf trolleys are inserted,

which rotate and one wood fired self made Industrie oven, which has 3 floors by 2x2 meters, that works with the 1. and the 2. floor with 8m² cooking area,

and the 3. floor by 4m² is used to dry special products slowly, there is also enough product warehouse, cold room and a lot of space for different work areas.

The bakery also has three delivery trucks, which were operating six days a week before the pandemic to distribute their own products to the different tourist areas of Guanacaste.

In total, 18 sales tours per week.

At the moment, the bakery has been reduced to a total of 9 sales tours and continues to operate at a profit.

We are currently doing the following tours, some of them twice a week:

Monteverde, Arenal and the most important beach hotels of Papagayo, Playas del Coco, Flamingo,

Tamarindo, Brasilito, Conchal, Samara, Nosara, Avellanas, Playa Negra, Junquillal and many more.

The economic success of the German bakery made possible the opening of the restaurant "Café Europa" in January 2013, this new construction with solid foundations has been prepared for a possible expansion both to the width and to the height of the premises.

The restaurant of more than 450m² was designed to take advantage of the natural environment of the area, with a large outdoor table area with a modern roof, a pizza preparation area with a special and exclusive wood-fired oven from Italy, a bar in the center of the restaurant around a huge Guanacaste tree in the biergarten area, and an indoor area with tables, a large parking lot for our customers and a cool and relaxed environment, in which birds and iguanas can be observed, as well as operations flight of the aircraft arriving at the Daniel Oduber Quirós airport.

The restaurant has a large playground and is therefore also used as a family restaurant, an area for a meeting office or a private and exclusive room.

The parking lot has three modern Siemens charging stations for the convenience of customers with electric vehicles.

The building has 55 solar panels of 300 watts each for its own electricity generation, so the electric service stations will run on clean energy.
